How it plays

Each night you choose one townsperson; if a Detective investigates them that same night, the result says "Mafia". The frame lasts one night only. You do not kill, but you decide what the town's best evidence says.

The Framer enters at four Mafia members, around fifteen players.

Tips

• Frame the player the Detective is most likely to check: the loudest accuser or the person the town is about to clear.
• Frame the same suspicious-looking townsperson two nights running so a Detective who re-checks gets the same lie.
• When a "confirmed Mafia" turns out innocent after the vote, your work is done: the Detective is now doubted.

Counter-play

The town beats the Framer by treating a single Mafia result as a lead, not a verdict, and by re-investigating before voting on a surprising read.
