About
About Mafiagg
Mafiagg exists so that a group of friends anywhere can play a real game of Mafia in fifteen minutes, with nobody stuck moderating and nobody left out.
What it is
Mafiagg is a browser-based and iPhone implementation of Mafia, the social deduction party game. Rooms hold 5 to 25 players, roles are dealt and enforced by the server, and every phase is narrated by a voice in English or Arabic. Live voice chat is built in, with a private night channel for the Mafia and a lounge for eliminated players.
What makes it different
- No moderator: the narrator and the rules engine run the game, so everyone plays.
- Twelve roles that scale with the table, from a 5-player classic to a 25-player crew with Godfather, Framer, Consigliere and Silencer.
- Table bots that fill empty seats and play by the real rules, so two people can start immediately.
- Ranked monthly seasons and an all-time ladder, with leaderboards per role.
- First-class Arabic: interface, narrator voices, role names and matchmaking, with right-to-left layout.
- Accessibility by design: keyboard shortcuts for every action, screen-reader announcements and automated audits on every page.
Free, and how it stays that way
There are no in-game purchases, no ads inside games and no paid roles. The project is independently built and operated; hosting costs are covered by its makers.
Safety and privacy
Voice is streamed live and never recorded by Mafiagg. Every player can report or block another, hosts can kick from the lobby, and reports are reviewed by the operators. Accounts can be deleted from the profile page at any time.
