How it plays

You are Mafia, you help choose the night's victim, and any Detective who investigates you learns "Not Mafia". That makes you the crew's safest public face: you can afford to be visible, lead discussions and even survive a Detective claim.

The Godfather joins when the crew reaches three members, from about eleven players.

Tips

• Be the town's leader. Every vote you steer away from a teammate is a night you do not have to kill.
• Encourage the Detective to investigate you; a clean result on a visible player buys the whole crew credibility.
• Let Killers take the risks in discussion and keep your own record spotless.

Counter-play

The town catches a Godfather through a Consigliere-style reasoning: who was never suspected, never investigated wrong, and always at the centre of the vote that missed?
